This year we are beginning a new exchange project with a little English school in Chiddingstone, Kent.
The aim of this experience is to extend English learning further than our school classrooms and offer the pupils the chance to practise it in a real context.
On the other hand, we understand that the opportunity to travel abroad and to live with native English speaking families must be a real advantage to help these boys and girls to be more self-reliant and responsible.
This year, due to the features of the English school where we are going to, we can only travel with a reduced number of students, but that's just the beginning.
In any case, the visit that these English pupils from Chiddingstone will make to our school on the 26th April, will be a great opportunity to involve all our students in this new project. We are also opening this blog, with the intention of sharing together the trip and the different activities we can develop there.
Aquest curs iniciem un nou projecte d'intercanvi amb una petita escola anglesa de Chiddingstone, al bell mig del comtat de Kent.L'objectiu d'aquesta experiència és obrir l'aprenentatge de l'anglès més enllà de les nostres aules i poder-lo practicar en un entorn real.
D'altra banda, entenem que l'oportunitat de viatjar a l'estranger i de conviure amb famílies angloparlants, ha de ser un benefici pel creixement en autonomia i responsabilitat dels nostres alumnes.
Enguany, atès el perfil de l'escola que ens acollirà, només podrem viatjar amb un grup reduït d'estudiants, però tot just és el principi.
De totes maneres, la visita que faran els alumnes de Chiddingstone a la nostra escola el proper 26 d'abril, serà una molt bona ocasió perquè tot el cicle en sigui partícip; així com també obrim aquest bloc amb la intenció de compartir tots plegats qualsevol experiència.
