LAST HOURS…

Chiddingstone is reputedly named after a block of sandstone known as " Chiding stone". 
The stone is thought to have been used in ancient times as a seat of judgement - hence the name " chiding".

AFTERNOON IN HEVER CASTLE

After visiting the castle where " Ana Bolena" spent her childhood, we eat an ice cream and have fun in the water maze.

Time to say goodbye !

After swimming in Susie's pool, we have eaten fish and chips. Great evening with our English friends!

Friday morning

After the assembly at the church with all the school together, we do our special presentations in year 6 class. First we talk about Montserrat and the things we can do there. We continue with two of our typical dishes: "Pa amb tomaquet" and "Crema catalana". And we finish with a Spanish pop song "Yo no me doy por vencido" and with some exercises to help them with their Spanish. 

Thursday evening

Playing in the gardens of Chiddingstone Castle and afterwards, Jack potatoes with sausages and beans. Having fun! It has been a great evening. 

London Visit

Thursday

Today London! Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Covent Garden before lunch. After that, Picadilly Circus and some shopping in Hamley's. Just amazing! More shopping in Oxford Street to rest a bit, and finally, Hyde Park.

Sports Day

A sunny & beautiful afternoon with games and a lot of fun with our friends from Chiddingstone School!
