GOOD MORNING! LONDON IS WAITING FOR US

At 9:36h we have taken the train to go to London

After that, when we have arrived, we have visited a lot of monuments. The most important for us has been:

Trafalgar Square

It had a small field for the Champions League

The most famous call

The Big Ben

The Westminster Abbey

Some royal guards marching to Buckingham Palace

Saint James' Park

Picadilly Circus

Then we have gone to a McDonals to have lunch. Suddenly, the cold weather has start to rain...

Later on, we have visited and bought some toys in the biggest toys' shop of Europe called "Hamley's"

Then, we have returned to Hildenborbough by train, and there, some parents have pick us up to  go to Chiddingstone. We had a barbecue at Joe's House.

Another warm pool

And some games in Joe's house garden

At the end, we have eaten some hamburger and sausages until eight o'clock, time to go to sleep. It has been a good day!

WEDNESDAY 22nd: MAYPOLE

 Good morning everybody!

Today we have arrived at school at nine o'clock. First we have been practicing our dances for the afternoon and we've been preparing the cupcakes, sandwiches and cakes for the Spanish Cafe.
After that, we've visited Chiddingstone Castle. It's a treasure in the garden of England. Then, we have had lunch there. At the school again, Spanish Cafe carried on. Later on, parents have come to school to attend at the Maypole Festival. We have showed our two Catalan dances.
At twenty past three, our families have picked us up, but at six o;clock we will meet at Susan's house to have the typical English dish " fish and chips" and if the weather allows us to have a swim in the  pool.

Chiddingstone school

Today we've arrived at Gatwick at 8:10h (english time). A bit later we have gone to Chiddingstone school by minibus. After that, we've had a class debate about "Is there life after death?". All of them has been taking part in it. Amazing!
To finish the school day, they have showed us some songs and roleplays in spanish, and it has been very funny.

EXCHANGE PROJECT 2013

Hi Chiddingstone ! This is the second year we'll fly to England  with a group of 12 students from level 6.
Our exchange project with a little English school in Chiddingstone, Kent, continues and we're really happy to come back again.
We began this experience with the aim to extend English learning further than our school classrooms and offer the pupils the chance to practice it in a real context.
Furthermore, this is a good opportunity to travel abroad and to live with native English speaking families.
But, before traveling to England, they are going to visit us. That allows us to involve all our students in this project and we are going to share some activities with them.

We open this blog again with the intention of sharing together the trip and the different activities we can develop there.

Hola Chiddingstone!
